Ricky Lauren, the wife of Ralph Lauren, has released a book that offers advice on how to live like a Lauren.
The 57-year-old, who resides in New York with her fashion designer husband of almost 50 years, has written The Hamptons: Food, Family, and History.
The book includes 100 'healthy, fresh, seasonal' recipes and photographs of the Lauren family plus tips on how to entertain as though you too are part of New York's high society.

The mother of three, who is also an accomplished photographer and artist, has also included some of her own watercolour drawings in the book.
She told Harper's Bazaar magazine that while the book obviously pays homage to the affluent New York destination that is located on Long Island, it has also been written for her children; Andrew, 43, David, 40 and Dylan, 38.

She said: 'A lot of these recipes are of course to share with everyone, but they are for my children to have for themselves so they have a cookbook of their own of memories.'

Her three children joined her and their father, 72, at the book's launch on Monday night, which was held at the flagship Ralph Lauren store in New York.
The author has included recipes such as one for Good Old-Fashioned Garlic Mashed Potatoes that she serves with baby 'Lollipop' lamb chops.
She recalled fond memories of her family's love for food, which help paint a vivid picture of what many would consider a perfect life.
She said: 'We would go picking potatoes, and the children would help. They were little and they'd come with brown bags from the supermarket, and we'd fill them up.
'Then we'd go back to the house and even the baby carriage would have potatoes in it.'
The book is not her first foray into the world of food publishing. She also released a book titled Ricky Lauren, Cuisine, Lifestyle, And Legend Of The Double RL Ranch in 2006.
Mrs Lauren, who has been collecting recipes ever since she married her husband, told WWD of her love for The Hamptons.
She said: 'We love the casualness of the beach, the relaxed, laid-back style... just really embracing the beauty of the area, the sea and the sky and the expanse of space.'
Her husband told Harper's that he too held a special spot for the exclusive beach area, that is often filled with celebrities during the warmer months.

He said: 'The Hamptons has always been a special place for us, starting when our children were very young.'

'Ricky's food and the creative way she sets our tables or fills a basket for a picnic on the beach have always been a personal gift to each of us. The beauty she sees in our lives is a daily inspiration.'
Mrs Lauren dedicated the book to her husband, who she labelled her 'anchor'.
The two married just eight months after meeting at an eye doctor's office in New York where she was working as a receptionist and he had come in for an appointment.
Over their first coffee date, Mrs Lauren told him she was studying Shakespeare and Geoffrey Chaucer at the time.
'Then I started reciting The Canterbury Tales and he said "This is a very strange girl",' she said. 'She's beautiful but she's strange.'
Mr Lauren went on to build his $5.6billion-per year fashion empire.
The family have lived in homes in Manhattan, Montauk, which is also located east of New York City, Bedford in New York, Colorado and Jamaica.
The couple's daughter Dylan is also the CEO and founder of the confectionery store Dylan's Candy Bar, which is said to be the largest candy store in the world.
